You came from Greatness, You can achieve Greatness

Hello to all! Well, we have finished with this month of February. Hurray.! Now, the  anxious awaiting for spring - to emerge - as does the first tips of the Iris each March; catching all rays of sunshine; poking their greenery thru with pre-spring arrival. My little garden out back is just showing the Iris’ green tips growing, even though the snow covered them up barely a week or more ago. Regardless, Mother Spring along with EARTH DAY readies to invoke the celebration of newness and life- Rebirth- knowing what & when to bloom; despite harsh conditions put forth. All creatures have their jobs to do, and nature is no different.  This is as we are; all waiting to bloom fresh and anew into springtime; revived, re-conditioned and re-affirmed to be our best selves yet once again.  This winter I have re-read the Wisdom of the Tao; translated by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer in his book:  Change Your Thoughts - Change Your Life: Living the Wisdom of the Tao. Lao-Tzu, resided in ancient China some 500 years before the birth of Christ. The dictated 81 verses by Lao-Tzu, have been studied & translated by many. They are thought of by many as being the ultimate commentary on the nature of our existence- It is also commonly known as the Tao Te Ching of the Great Way.

Each month starts fresh with a new recharging and allocation of  familiar routines for continued all around health commitments;new goals cast in stone. In comparison, I find it no different than our natural world striving to keep their dates with the destiny of springtime; to emerge alive so very showy!  With new routines and goals; they present yet another set of challenges. At these times of challenge, we invoke our humanly sets of muscles to help us rise to the achieve our new goal-set; utilizing the physical muscles and spiritual muscles alike.  The physical muscles endure the trials of the activity. However, it is the spiritual muscle which pulls us through times when we are spent, empty cupboards, zero reserves. There is nothing left but the spirit to lift us up in our challenge and carry us alongside. So, what is the connection? Is there any? Most certainly there is - the ever mind/body connection. This was a clear reminder upon reading Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life; and is what much to do about survival is all about. What can we control in our lives, and do we have any? I see it this way- We have our thoughts and how we process them, and then how we fuel and nourish our earthly self.  Can one forge past detours &  diversions in accordance to conquer?  Yes we can.  The goal is to find the way around "it." Look at it with fresh eyes. Start from the end to visualize the Successful End and work backwards. It will all become clearer this way. I return back to a translation in the Tao, "Remember You came from Greatness, You can achieve Greatness" in all things if we attempt to "Change our Thoughts"; which inevitably changes our life, towards Greatness.
