AWellnessFit: Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day. It seems this day puts so much pressure on most everyone to express their love for their special Valentine. But what if you don't have one? Of course, you do- YOURSELF! It may not be the perfect Hallmark moment, but realizing that YOU- are as important to be loved and appreciated by YOURSELF is your step forward to emotional survival of a day that some may like to sleep thru. Let us know, that on this Valentine's Day, whether we are currently in a romantic relationship or not, that each time we can choose to give or receive unconditional love, we are touched by divine intervention of all love, of a higher power- however you choose to see it; be it divine, a deity, or other spiritual being you may recognize. Getting to the heart of the matter is our having a healthy heart that starts working from the inside out with self acceptance and love, to physical wellness and that love which we give away. Have you ever thought that if each of us can let our love flow into the world, with your own person's true nature- it is one step towards providing inner and outer peace with immediate impact into your own world? So many people feel that it is too painful to love; exposing ourself. Yes, at times, we may all have loved and lost; and yet, in the end, we still have loved. Love is never wasted. Love in short, as in this matter of the heart, is sufficient unto itself. Love is adequate unto itself. It is also like a gift that is pure when it is given from the heart; when nothing is expected in return. That is the greatest love of all; loving much, and love again regardless of expectations and results. A favorite quote of mine is: "A man may have many shortcomings, but if he loves greatly, much will be given him." Recognize that you can start and end your Valentine Day with looking in the mirror and saying to yourself, I am love, and I am worthy. It's a starting point and ending point, all in one. I rejoice in the beauty of us all!
