My challenge? Can you even take a day and not connect - via phone, email, text, tweet, pinterest, linked-in, face book? Here are a few options for a try- don't be afraid, JUMP Right IN. It's all free and good stuff for you!
1. Unplug... (not to be confused with Eric Clapton "UNPLUGGED" ) from your daily immediate connectivity fix- for as long as you can.! Yes, I know.. it seems like you will surgically have to have the remote removed from your hand if your IMMEDIATE CONNECT is TV.. not to mention your cell. Give it a try - at least for short time frames, and fill it up with "something" totally inventive and creative... that requires your creative mind set to take over! Even perhaps a nap to dream a little dream to come true?
2. Gaze at the heavens above.... especially if your a night owl and the sky is clear.. It's so AMAZING!Whether it's daylight or night time, the heavens above are truly an awe inspiring experience. Travel to a planetarium with the family; for some educations of the heavens, and I guarantee you = you will never look at the sky with the same set of eyes! Firefly watching is a great past time watching too. They come with their own Bling! and Blink!
3. Taking to the Waters to Float or Swim.... Yes, - you go swimming too when your bringing the children to the shore or pool; or your animal friends to the lake, ocean, river. One even better - DOSE yourself with the spray nozzle while watering your gardens.. It's ever so DELIGHTFUL. Waters help heal what may immediately ail you.
Taking to the waters .... is a healing experience

Nothing speaks to me like summertime and being barefooted. I watch the paint commercial about "bare footin"... and it makes me NOT want to stain my deck, but talk a walk on the wild side with bare feet.. For those who can't stand being barefoot and walk, just have happy feet. The babies in carriages and strollers are pleased as punch to not be restricted with their shoes.
5. Be Buddha like ... and sit still somewhere - even under a great tree.... meditate, read, picnic, or be just plain still.... You'll be amaze the wisdom's derived from Under the Greatness of a tree sitting. Take a peak to see the source of a great Bod hi tree here: Source: http://www.wisdom-tree.com/wisdom/symbolism.html
