Why does Kindness matter?
Kindness starts simply with a smile to greet the day, even though it's subzero
degrees out there. A simple act to jump start your kindness day? Warm up
the car for the person to leave before you. Don't YOU just love a warm vehicle? Try filling
up the car with gas before Monday am, even cleaning the windshield too? I've been the recipient of this so often; and it feels spoiling and divine. :)
There
are so many forms of kindness; but it feels even greater for the soul with
sharing. While driving in to work, how about letting that car get in front of you? Way less stressful. What about picking up an extra
breakfast treat for your fellow cube mate you know is going to be late in the
am and did not have time for a nibble of any nutritional sustenance? I’m talking REAL FOOD – Starbucks concoctions
– no matter how good- is often not the fuel we need to wake up the brain.
Why does kindness matter?
Well, it is enlightening, enjoyable and addicting. The good endorphins just get
kick started! Kindnesses of all sorts makes
the world go around. You may find you do your own kindnesses during the day
without thinking about them! I’m certain you do. You do the “Kindness” of listening
to a stranger’s tale of woe in line at the grocery check-out, make the call to listen
to someone that needs your ear, make dinner and share with a family who's funds are low or an infirmed person that is tired of just chicken soup!
Kindness acts exists in
everyday living activities. Kindness is sharing the goodness of your Positive
life with someone that is struggling. It’s donating food, clothing, money,
comfort, friendship, time, and ear to listen without anyone else knowing about
it?
Why does Kindness matter? Kindness starts simply within oneself, in the heart
and grows outward. It helps one bloom, the giver and the recipient
alike.
Kindness is like stardust. All that glistens is golden!
Kindness helps build respect,
compassion and resiliency.
So how about
planting your own kindness seeds to grow this January?
What type of kindness garden
would you like to grow? How about relating your own acts of kindness tales to
teach someone else why kindness does matter? We all have a tale to tell and
share. As Kindness is sharing – and it
all starts with a smile that grows inward to outside and radiates to the world
daily. Kindness is a definite bud bloomer.Let me now how you plan to plant your Kindness garden this January. Remember, it only takes the thought to plant it and then grows with added warmth, love and sharing.
Namaste
